A little over a month ago I blogged about my attempt at lightening my hair myself to achieve the currently popular "ombre" look. See here and you will find that it didn't work as I'd hoped. A few weeks after I made a second attempt using a higher developer and a lighter highlighting color. It did lighten it more but still not as drastically as I'd liked. So last Thursday evening I made my third {and final, at least for now} go at it. Much more satisfied this time.
This is kind of what I was going for....

Incase you were wondering where I found that awesomely fluorescent yellow tank...
It's an old white A&F knit tank {which I have about 85 of} that I dyed early last week with iDye Fluorescent Yellow. I didn't think it would actually turn out THAT neon but I LOVE it so much I wore it twice last week! Above and also here...
I can not wait for Summer! Can you?
I'm getting my tan back! My hair is lighter! And I have an awesome new neon tank to wear!
Yesss. Summer here I come :)
